GREAT FOOD!!!

I must say that the food here is as amazing as everyone raves it to be. Absolutely delicious!! I recently heard about this restaurant from a friend, who told me that this franchise is very popular in India. From what I have heard, it is known to be same quality food as it is in India. I am always up for trying new things, and as I went there recently, I found that the quality of the food, as well as service was great. The best part of it all is that the food is cost friendly and does not break the bank when you go there. I am very big on service, and I can honestly say that the staff working there is very friendly and quick. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone. I can confidently say that if you try it just once, you will love it. I am def looking forward to going back again!!

I had the coconut rava masala dosa which was very disappointing because it was shown to be made with fresh coconut which it was not. It was very obvious that it was desiccated shredded coconut from a bag from the texture and taste which was too artificially sweet to be from a fresh coconut. Real shredded coconut would be more fibrous not so sweet nor would every shred be uniform in appearance. Thus I have given a lower rating for the quality for misleading the client into thinking the quality was otherwise. The samabr was ok and the cocnut chutney ok. The molga podi was nice but the tomato chutney was garbage just colored diluted and fake while the mint chutney was just passing. The samabr was ok but not spicy enough for me. My friend had the Mysore dosa which was 1000 times better due the lack of gimmicks which I had experienced in my dish. It is ok but we both wished we had gone to Nanking across the street instead. Well we gave it a shot and won't be back because there is still better south indian food with more options than dosa in Edison.

I love Sankalp's food. It's just so delicious with all the right spices. I love going there and eating there dosas, and lassis they really are just very tasty. the service is wonderful too, just a great combo. Im so happy they made one so close to my home.

This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in Edison. I ordered the cheese chilly uthappam and it was delicious ! But what really makes a South Indian restaurant great is its saambar and they did not disappoint. It was warm and spicy and whenever it looked like it was almost finished. Someone would come around and refill everyones saambar.

The food, service, and quality is just too good. I really recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for some really tasty foods. The chutneys are mouth watering and the variety is great. I love that they have the combo meals and so many items to choose from. Great dining experience.
