- Use of Content
- We may remove or reinstate User content from time to time at our sole discretion. For example, we may remove a review or event discussion if we believe it violates any of the following rules:
- Conflicts of interest. Your reviews need to be unbiased and objective. If there's even an inkling of conflict, DO NOT post the review. For example, owners shouldn't be praising their own business or criticize their competitors, and users shouldn't leave reviews on their current or former employers.
- Second-hand experiences and hearsay. For example, you can't give a Dosa restaurant a bad review because your cousin complained about his sambar. Your reviews must contain your own opinions about your own experiences, not someone else's.
- Personal attacks. At some point or another some of you have had bad experiences. We understand you want to express this, but you can't use lewd language, hate speech or any display of bigotry.
- Relevance. Reviews need to solely focus on the customer experience. This is not a forum to discuss business practices, politics or other information not relevant to the customer perspective of a transaction with a specific business.
- Plagiarism. You need to use your own words to describe your experience. I know Bollywood likes to copy Hollywood movies, but we need you to express yourself in your own words.
- Blank reviews. Come on why leave a nonsensical review? Let your voice and opinion be heard by all the people who come and visit Socialroots. Don't be afraid, warm up a cup of chai. Sit next to the computer and write about your experience!
- Socialroots may display advertisements another other information adjacent to or included with Your Content on the Site and Other Media. You are not entitled to any compensation for such advertisements. The manner, mode and extent of such advertising are subject to change without specific notice to you.
- Coupons
- All coupons printed from Social Roots, or any other website associated with Social Roots (hereinafter "Coupons") are promotional discounts offered by participating merchants ("Merchants") through Social Roots to be used to purchase goods and services at a discount from their actual cost. By printing a coupon from a Merchant through Social Roots, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here.
- For more information about our collection of personal information, please view our Privacy Policy. You are required to create an account in order to print any Coupon. This is required so we can provide you with easy access to print your orders, view your past purchases, modify your preferences, and to ensure permissible use of the Coupon.
- The Coupons you print through Social Roots are redeemable for a discount on goods and services sold by the Merchant. The Merchant, NOT Social Roots, is the owner and creator of the Coupon and is solely responsible for honoring any Coupon that you present in connection with that Merchant's goods or services. Social Roots only promotes the Coupon that can be redeemed in connection with your purchase of the goods or services from Merchant.
- We use reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information and content on the Site, including coupon and offer codes and expiration dates. However, merchants have the ability to change or terminate their Coupons at any time, including but not limited to, the coupon or offer code and the expiration date. Since Coupons are composed of content not offered by us, we do not control (i) the terms of the Coupons made by the merchant; (ii) the availability or technical capabilities of the merchant's websites or links to their websites; (iii) the quality, safety or legality of the Coupons available on our Site or on merchant websites or sites of third parties not in privity of contract with us, or (iv) the truth or accuracy or legality of the Coupons offered by merchants, advertisers or those third parties (even if such content appears on the Coupons). We are not liable or responsible for the Coupon, or for actions you might take in reliance on the Coupons.
- Nothing contained in any of the Coupons is an offer, guarantee or promise. We do not guarantee the price, terms, or availability of any of the Coupons.
- With respect to the Coupons, we are not involved in any transactions that are consummated between you and any of the merchants or advertisers whose Coupons are listed on our Websites. We are also not responsible for nor do we guarantee the price, terms or performance of any of the Coupons.
