While there are several great places that make great Punjabi food in the US, there aren't many that do Indian Fast Food right. But Bombay Talk is not one of them. The food here is definitely great and this is where'd I'd go if I'm in the mood for Indian Fast Food. This time around, I tried a couple of new things apart from the usual (the Junglee Jumbo Sandwich is a must-order when you come here). They've introduced Thai food with an Indian spin. I ordered the fried tofu, and it turned out to be great. It was similar to paneer chili but definitely had a thai feel to it. I also really enjoyed the mango shake with mango ice-cream (not sure if it's seasonal but as of May it'll now be available for the next 3 months so go get it!). I'd definitely recommend this place for a fun family outing where you can include your grandparents as well, who would enjoy it just as much.

I've been going to this place since I was kid, and anytime I want a change of pace from the norm of Dominos and Pizza Hut, I'll head to Uno. Whenever I'm visiting Ahmedabad, this is one of the places my mom and I will definitely go. The place itself is very small. even though it has 2 floors, the whole 1st floor is just the cashier's desk and the kitchen. The second floor is the seating area, which has about 4 to 5 tables that will seat about a total of 15-20 people. We always order the same: Nachos and well done pizza with green peppers and onions. The quality is always consistent and top-notch, which is why we bare the half-hour it takes to actually make the pizza. While there is nothing special about the place, the food is amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to just chill out and have some good pizza at a local place.

As an Indian, Thai food has always been one of my favorite cuisines since it is one of the only other types of food that has about as much flavor as Indian food. I love trying new Thai places and so decided to come here with a friend who was a big fan of the place already. We walked in on a sunday afternoon and seating was readily available (which made me a little uneasy). I looked at the menu and saw a $7 lunch special, which immediately brought a smile to my face since most places only have lunch specials on the weekdays. I ordered the seitan tofu with the basil chili sauce, along with the veggie dumplings and the veggie tom-yum soup. The presentation of the food was quite nice. They give you one large plate in which the 2 appetizers and the entree are arranged (each in their own smaller plate or bowl). I am big fan of thai food and I've tried many places and the food here was the one of the most flavorful I've had. While the basil chili sauce was a little on the salty side, and the tom-yum soup was a bit too sour, no one flavor was overwhelming and the ingredients blended together very well. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for lunch. It's not too crowded, the decor is quite nice and they have $2 thai beers and some other cheap drinks options as well. The lunch special also offers a large variety to pick from which is unlike most "lunch specials."

Being an NYU Alum and a vegetarian basically made this my go to place whenever I was in the mood for imitation meats. Even my carnivorous friends enjoy this place and are willing to accompany my vegetarian friends and myself to this restaurant quite often. I absolutely love the appetizers here. Whenever I go, my friends and I will share a bunch of appetizers (instead of getting an entree as well). The buffalo wings are absolutely amazing, as are the creole soul and bourbon chicken. Those are the three items I've ordered almost always. Depending on your taste, you may not like some of the entrees. Unless the imitation meat is breaded or smothered in sauce, it can be quite dry. I recommended staying away from dishes that don't meet the criteria I just described. That being said, I've had the chicken Parmesan and its been very good. The marinara sauce is chunky and fresh and the breaded chicken is great as well. Overall, vegetarians should definitely check this place out if you haven't already. Don't miss out!

Mexican Radio was suggested to me by a friend. Being vegetarian, I was reluctant to venture outside the norm, but she assured me I would love it - and I definitely did love it. The best thing about this place was that it didn't just have a few vegetarian options, but basically every dish on the menu was available with different vegetarian twists based on the customer's preference. I ordered the corn on the cob as the starter and the chimichanga with peppers and onions for my entree and both the dishes were superb. The margaritas were great as well and accompanied the food perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to vegetarians who are looking to have a fun dinner on a Friday night before heading out to the bars/clubs.
